PELITA major role is to be the facilitator and catalyst of growth, working hand in hand with private developers and investors to spearhead the development of the State. We have team up with private sectors to synergize both property and plantation development in the state by mobilizing the financial resources, capital and management expertise of the private sector in the joint development of projects and programs We are positioning our business to specialize in Urban Development and Renewal; Property Development and Management; Native Customary Right (NCR) Land Development; Rural Economic Growth and Sago Industry Development & Management.
As PELITA aims to hold 40% of plantation development in the state, PELITA undertakes and implement, vigorously land schemes for oil palm plantation. The development of sago and food industry are two other key areas emphasized by PELITA in diversifying further and broadening the state's economic base and resources.
PELITA will continue to plan and redevelop the existing urban centers for urban renewal projects, develop landmark projects in the existing towns and urbanize the rural areas and improve the existing rural service centers. The effort in this direction would be further enhanced through the joint development of these service and commercial sector with the private sector.
PELITA also invest in tourism related business such as investment in Rajah Court Hotel , Borneo Highland, Purnama Hotel, Plaza Hotel & Parkcity Everly hotel in Bintulu and Miri and Tanahmas Hotel in Sibu. |
