DEVELOPMENT
OF STATE LAND FOR PLANTATIONS
The development of state land is based
on joint-venture concept whereby a JVC is formed
between PELITA and the investor to develop the
land through a 40:60 percent
equity participation. Through this partnership
twenty three (23) on-going projects with a total area
of 211,759 hectares are currently
being undertaken. As at April 2009, 109,578
hectares have been planted.
